If you’re going to use form 4852, you may as well determine if you earned “wages” as defined in IRC section 3401(a) and 3121(a) as “wages”. There’s a chance that “wages” as defined in the IRC code do not apply to your earnings, which means you may have a lower or zero tax liability from money received from that employer. If this is the case, you may have a bigger tax return from “overpayments” deducted from your compensation (which was not “wages” per the IRC) during the year. I hope this helps.
